Another prestigious address for McCormick Flat Roofing! This time, Kings College, London, one of the Top 25 universities in the world and the fourth oldest in Britain.

King’s has played a major role in many of the advances that have shaped modern life, such as the discovery of the structure of DNA, and turned out such exemplaries as Alexander Fleming and the founder of Bentley Motor Cars.

But an asphalt built-up roof at its Strand Campus, which is home to the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Law, Physical Sciences and Engineering, and of Social Science and Public Policy, was not faring so well.

Working around plant of all shapes and sizes, including large rooflights, McCormick renovated it with Icopal’s liquid system Elastoflex, completing the project on time (within four months) and within budget.

On the back of this project, McCormick won The Hayward Gallery directly across The Thames which is part of the Royal Festival Hall Campus for Vivid Interiors.
