Robust Detail E-FC-11 (Icopal-Monarfloor Tranquilt)

SVP's / Service Pipes Through Floors

• Service pipe penetrations through precast slabs should be grout filled and sealed in accordance with Robust Detail requirements
• SVP's should be wrapped with 25mm (min) mineral wool quilt (min 10kg/m3) as required by Robust Details.
• 100mm timber formwork should be mounted adjacent to pipe (on three sides and not in contact with any pipework)
• The Tranquilt should be applied with 150mm (min) upstand
• Any gaps in the Tranquilt should be filled with Tranquilt sections, as done previous
• All joints between Tranquilt and cut sections should be glued and taped
