Robust Detail E-FC-11 (Icopal-Monarfloor Tranquilt)

Butt-End Joints (Contact Adhesive & Tape)

• Where the end of a roll or butt ends occur the following should be applied
• Butt both joints together to ensure a tight joint (if required trim the Tranquilt quilt square)
• Apply Monarfloor Adhesive to both edges and the underside of the Tranquilt quilt, and the sub-floor
• Allow to 'tack off' and bond ensuring a tight butt joint, and one continual layer
• Apply tape along the length of joint (no gaps to remain)
